I am not sure where the past month has gone exactly, but it sure isn’t coming back. I’ve tried to think about what I’ve been doing, struggling to recall the simplest of things, and yet, I know I’ve not stopped long enough to even reply to friends.

Let’s try a quick recap!

The last you may have heard from me, I had just launched Auction. It is my second short story to be published on Kindle and part of the collection Carnival: Tales from within. It had an amazing start, with three downloads in the first day! That’s much more than Mannequin had and an amazing feeling for only my second piece to be shared.

Since then I have made a running start at the next entry; although my confidence (or lack of) has hindered my progress as I question if anyone would want to read something that is potentially so vulgar on many levels. Don’t worry though; If I don’t publish it ahead, it will still appear in my final collection, just like Phoenix!

That brings me to Auction… Part 2! Yes, there is a second part to that mysterious tale, and for those of you who desperately want to see some justified punishment of a sleazy soul, stay tuned.

Whilst dredging the rivers of my old journals I’ve also found, and taken to reviving, a flash fiction tale, separate from Carnival, that I had made into an audiobook. Written to explore the concept of an unexpected erotic encounter on the London Underground, I’ve been told it’s like one of Pixar’s pre-film shorts, but in the form of adult reading. I will be re-proofing this and publishing it on kindle, alongside the recording on Spotify (if I can figure that out), soon and more importantly for free!

You might say that my list at the moment was enough to be getting on with… but I’m a fool for a challenge! With some small bits going on in the background, I am hoping and looking forward to revealing some new treats to you all, soon enough.

Don’t be shy, I love hearing from you all! Share a little about your past month and what challenges you’ve set yourself recently. Comments and messages welcome.
